Hardin-Simmons University Human Performance Lab conducts research and offers services to the campus community. We are here to assist the HSU faculty, staff, students, athletes and the surrounding community in their health, human performance, and fitness.

A variety of physiological assessments are offered for your benefit. We will perform the following assessments of your body in the following areas:
*Discounted pricing for follow up visits within the same school year. (Fall to Spring Semester)
Bod Pod Gold standard of measuring fat-free and fat mass. 5-10 minute, safe and non-invasive testing procedure.
RMR Testing Metabolic test measuring oxygen consumption at rest using a VO2 mask, over the course of 20 minutes.
VO2 Testing Cardiovascular fitness test using oxygen consumption during a standard Bruce protocol on the treadmill while wearing a mask over the mouth and nose.
Functional Movement Screening (FMS) Move through a visual assessment with the HPL team to assess possible limitations in strength or range of motion.
